What is Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)?

ADR refers to any of a number of methods used to resolve disputes, other than litigation. ADR is mediation and facilitation as alternatives or additions to the more lengthy processes of EEO complaints, grievances, or, on occasion, progressive discipline.
