Camp Cancellation Information
- Please make sure you register early to help avoid camp cancellations.
- The week before a camp is scheduled to run, we look at the enrollment numbers and will make a final decision if a camp has enough registrations to run. If we need to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, our Registration Office will notify you. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
- If we need to cancel a camp for any reason, we will make every attempt to place your camper in another camp. Otherwise, we will give you a full refund for the camp that we cancelled.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a higher price point than the camp we cancelled, you will need to pay the difference. This is due to the camp supplies fees that are included in the price of the camp.
- If you decide to move your camper to another camp and that camp has a lower price point than the camp we cancelled, we will refund you the difference.

Secret Agent Funky Forensics
Step into the shoes of a detective-uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Using your observational skills, collect evidence and analyze the clues left behind. Recreate the scene of a crime using schematics. Use science to connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this hands-on investigation into the science of sleuthing!

Playing Golf at Bucks RCHYC 6088 C01
Participants will be provided opportunities to exercise hand-eye coordination while learning to properly grip, set up, align, and swing a variety of sized golf clubs in a safe and fun environment. All levels of ability will be met with appropriate age-related skills and games. The focus of this camp is to generate interest and fun with golf. It is recommended that campers bring extra water, and campers bring their own golf clubs.
Sharpie's Un-cap the Possibilities RCHYC 6285 C01
Sharpie’s Un-camp the Possibilities camp will encourage young artists to dive into the limitless possibilities using permanent markers. The campers will learn how to use the Sharpies with a variety of techniques to create stunning masterpieces on a range of media. Campers will discover the versatility of Sharpie markers as they decorate and personalize everyday objects with intricate designs and vibrant colors. Using Sharpie markers, the campers will make coasters, tie dye shirts, headbands, bags, and hats. The campers will also make tin foil art pieces, and other creative images on plastic items for keepsakes. Musical Theatre Jr. (2-Week Camp) for Ages 7-10 RCHYC 6206 C01

An introductory camp for young actors and actresses interested in performing onstage in a musical. Campers will learn to sing, act, and dance. A full-length kids musical will be performed on the final day of camp. Auditions are held on the first day of camp. Days will consist of rehearsals for the musical. Music will be practiced and rehearsed in the mornings while staging and dance will be in the afternoons. This summer’s performance will be Finding Nemo, Kids.

Participants will be provided opportunities to exercise hand-eye coordination while learning to use proper grip of the paddle, footwork, swing coordination hitting the ball and stroke coordination hitting a serve, ground stroke and volley. Game scoring and team cooperation will be introduced and will support different levels of ability. The focus of this camp is on cooperation and fun. It is recommended that campers bring extra water. With a little green thumb and some imagination our campers will enjoy making terrariums, bird houses, garden signs and garden tiles. The love of nature will be inspired by encouraging the camper to utilize Tyler State Park. The camper will find moss, pebbles, and little treasures to fill into this magical terrarium land. They will also be encouraged to create clay figurines and garden tiles. Summer is meant for enjoying nature and going out to explore.

Join us for a captivating week full of the ocean’s most feared creatures. But is there actually a reason to be afraid of these animals? We will find out this week as we face our fears and use knowledge to make informed decisions about the dangers of sharks. NASA: STEM Explorers
Developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Research Challenge. Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes to solve a problem here on Earth?

Discover the work of da Vinci, Edison, Tesla, and Benjamin Franklin and use what you learn to invent solutions to everyday problems. You’ll prepare a proposal and receive a patent certificate for your very own invention. Build your own catapult, and even launch projectiles off a large trebuchet! Using popular folk song melodies, campers will deepen their musicality in melody, rhythm, and movement. We will explore storytelling in books and then expand one of those stories into a performance in which the campers lead in embellishing the tale with music, movement, staging, and costume. Campers will enjoy participating in a variety of healthy activities for the body and mind! Fun exercise and dance routines, as well as creative brain-training games will help to promote positive feelings of well-being! Walking in nature, practicing kids’ stretching/yoga poses, and participating in mini-mindfulness lessons will leave kids feeling calm and centered. Learning about which foods give us the best energy and preparing healthy snacks together also help to make this a well-rounded summer camp experience!

Working with Lego Master Builders, we set our sights on designing structures that work. Towers need elevators and rocket capsules need parachutes. In this session, we explore all things structural. Campers will discover the versatility of Sharpie markers as they decorate and personalize everyday objects with intricate designs and vibrant colors. Using Sharpie markers, the campers will make coasters, tie dye shirts, headbands, bags, and hats. The campers will also make tin foil art pieces, and other creative images on plastic items for keepsakes.
