  • Rangers' Braden Schneider: First goal since October

Schneider scored a goal Thursday in a 6-1 win over the Flyers.

It was a bit of fluke, but a goal is a goal. Schneider tied the game 1-1 at 9:00 of the first period when his pass to a Reilly Smith hit Egor Zamula's stick and went in. He snapped a 43-game goal slump. Schneider has a point in each of his last two games, but his fantasy value is limited. He has just 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) and 65 shots in 48 games, but he does offer hits (79) and blocks (84).

  • Rangers' Adam Fox: Three-game multi-point streak

Fox had a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Philadelphia on Thursday.

His goal was a short-handed empty-net goal at 16:53 of the third. Fox is riding a three-game, multi-point streak (one goal, five assists), and he sits sixth in scoring from the blue line with 40 points, including 37 assists, in 48 games this season. Fox has been a big part of the Rangers recent resurgence -- they've now picked up at least a point in 10 games.

  • Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Three-game, four-point streak

Miller had a goal and an assist Thursday in a 6-1 win over the Flyers.

Miller, who is more of a shutdown guy, is on a surprising three-game, four-point scoring streak (one goal, three assists). He's on pace for triple digits in both hits and blocks, so adding a bit of offense certainly gives him a short-term boost. Miller has three goals and eight assists in 42 games.

  • Rangers' Reilly Smith: Two-point effort in win

Smith had a goal and an assist Thursday in a 6-1 victory over the Flyers.

He put in a power-play marker at 18:15 of the third for the 6-1 final. Smith has just four points (two goals, two assists) in his last nine games, and he has but 17 shots in that span. He has 75 shots in 47 games this season, but that puts him on a 130-shot pace, the lowest of his career since the COVID-19 shortened 2020-21. Smith's 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 47 games give some the perception that he's underperforming, but that's a 40-point pace, which would match 2023-24. Right now, Smith won't add value unless he goes on a tear.

  • Rangers' Filip Chytil: Snaps six-game goal drought

Chytil had a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Philadelphia on Thursday.

Chytil's third-period deflection put the Rangers up 4-1. It snapped a six-game goal drought (one assist). Rumors continue to swirl about being included in a possible trade for J.T. Miller, but nothing has come from it. Chytil's value would go up should that occur, as he'd go from being a 3C to a 2C and have a lot more opportunity. Right now, his 11 goals, nine assists and 85 shots in 39 games makes him wire-worthy in redraft formats.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Dominant over last seven games

Shesterkin made 35 saves in a 6-1 win over the Flyers on Thursday.

Owen Tippett ended Shesterkin's shutout streak at 165:28 at 1:25 of the first period when Travis Konecny's pass into the slot redirected off his skate and into the Rangers net. He was perfect after that. Shesterkin is 6-0-1 with a .948 save percentage and 1.39 GAA since Jan. 9 (seven games). Another strong performance this weekend, and Shesterkin could be in line for an NHL "Three Stars" of the week honor. Or even a player of the month nod.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Facing Flyers

Shesterkin will patrol the home crease versus Philadelphia on Thursday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Shesterkin has been red-hot of late as he has gone 164:03 without allowing a goal. Shesterkin is coming off back-to-back shutouts and is 16-15-2 with a 2.78 GAA and a .912 save percentage. The Flyers are scoring 3.02 goals per game, 15th in the NHL this season.

  • Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Hands out helper Tuesday

Edstrom produced an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Edstrom ended a three-game dry spell with the helper. The 24-year-old set up a Matt Rempe tally in the third period. Edstrom has displayed limited offense in his first full campaign, picking up eight points to go with 37 shots on net, 87 hits, 25 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 47 contests. He is likely to remain in a bottom-six role and could have extremely limited ice time if the Rangers are playing in close games frequently.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Sets up opening goal

Trocheck notched an assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Trocheck ended a four-game slump with the helper on Alexis Lafreniere's opening goal late in the first period. The 31-year-old Trocheck hadn't had a drought that long since going six contests without a point from Nov. 17-27. The center is up to 14 goals, 16 helpers, 124 shots on net, 137 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 47 outings overall.

  • Rangers' Adam Fox: Two more helpers in win

Fox registered two assists, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

This was Fox's second two-helper game in a row, and one of them came on the power play in this contest. The 26-year-old defenseman has a goal and nine assists over his last nine outings, a stretch in which the Rangers have also played better overall. Fox is up to 38 points (16 on the power play), 75 shots on net, 66 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 47 appearances this season.

  • Rangers' Matt Rempe: Tallies in Tuesday's win

Rempe scored a goal on four shots, added four PIM and logged two hits in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Rempe also saw 9:12 of ice time, his second-highest mark in a game this season. He had the Rangers' third goal, which sparked a three-goal third period as they ran away with the win. Rempe also mixed it up and earned a double-minor for roughing while coming to the defense of Igor Shesterkin after Brady Tkachuk collided with the netminder in the crease. Rempe's scoring output is limited -- he has just two points in 12 games, though he needed 17 contests to produce that much offense last year. He's added 35 PIM, 29 hits and a plus-3 rating in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Arthur Kaliyev: Finds back of net Tuesday

Kaliyev scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators. He also took two shots on goal and recorded two hits.

Kaliyev was picked up off waivers Jan. 6 from the Kings, and the 23-year-old has responded by scoring two goals over his last four appearances. Even though he holds a middle-six role, his fantasy impact shouldn't be very high unless he gets promoted to one of the top two lines -- a scenario that doesn't seem likely to happen in the near future.

  • Rangers' Will Cuylle: Scores in back-to-back games

Cuylle scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Cuylle went through a rough patch in recent weeks since he went pointless on 13 straight games between Dec. 22 and Jan. 18, but he's turned things around after finding the back of the net in his last two games. He's up to 13 goals and a career-high 26 points on the season, but his recent dry spell points to a lack of consistency that limits his fantasy upside in most formats.

  • Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Multi-point effort Tuesday

Lafreniere scored an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Lafreniere recorded his first multi-point effort since Jan. 7, when he scored two goals in a 5-4 loss to the Stars. The star winger is having a down year compared to 2023-24, however, when he established a career-high mark in points with 57. He's notched 28 points in 47 outings in the current campaign, including seven (four goals, three helpers) in his 11 outings this month.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Nets PP goal Tuesday

Panarin recorded a power-play goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

Panarin found the twine after two straight games without finding the back of the net, although the star winger continues to find ways to contribute almost on a game-to-game basis. He's cracked the scoresheet in seven of the Rangers' last nine games, tallying 10 points (four goals, six assists) in that span. On the season, Panarin is producing at an average of more than one point per game for the eighth straight campaign since he's racked up 49 points (20 goals and 29 helpers) in only 45 appearances.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Posts second straight shutout

Shesterkin posted a 20-save shutout in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Senators.

The star goaltender notched another impressive performance between the pipes and recorded a second consecutive shutout. With this performance, Shesterkin extended his shutout streak to 164:03, the second longest of his career behind the 166:30 he had last season from March 4 to March 14, 2024. He'll aim to establish a new personal record in his next appearance, presumably when the Rangers take on the Flyers on Thursday.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Gets starting nod versus Sens

Shesterkin will be between the pipes for Tuesday's home game against Ottawa, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Shesterkin is undefeated in regulation over his last five outings, posting a 4-0-1 record, 1.73 GAA and one shutout along the way. He comes into Tuesday's tilt with an extra night off after Jonathan Quick played in Sunday's clash with Montreal. If the 29-year-old Shesterkin can keep his play from dipping, he may still be capable of reaching the 30-win mark for the fourth straight year -- though he is running out of time with just 15 victories in 32 outings thus far.
