Plaid Cash Deposits

Student Deposits

Students may deposit funds via Student Information Online (SIO). Simply log in to SIO and select 'ID Card' under the Campus Life tab. 

Individuals who wish to deposit funds into someone else's Plaid Cash account may do so online using a Visa or Mastercard. The cardholder's Andrew ID and the 9-digit account number printed on the front of the ID Card (begins with 8) is required. 

Faculty, Staff & Other Deposits

Cardholders who do not have access to SIO may deposit funds via the CMU Portal.

Mail or In-Person Deposits

Cash payments are no longer accepted in The HUB. Credit/debit or check Plaid Cash deposits may be made in person at The HUB. Checks may also be mailed to:

Checks should be made payable to Carnegie Mellon University. In the memo field of the check, please print clearly the student's name and "Plaid Cash". Please do not mail cash.
