      Wow! This was so good! Narrator was amazing as well. It had a Greek sense to it mixed with vampires and werewolf.

      I’m interested in where the plot is leading, but I hated the constant misunderstand/miscommunication trope. I’m not a fan of the trope but this book took it a step further by making it the main plot point until chapter 35 and even then not completely out of the book till chapter 40! It was infuriating! I like the last 5 chapters enough to read the next book, but only just.

      I love the narrator. She does such a great job, thr story is riveting. I highly recommend if you're into series like ACOTAR or fourth wing

      Was a pretty good interesting plot. I had some moments of irritation with the main character but understandable given her circumstances. The main male character seems kind of an apparent role in the story but the story is hard to put down once the story reaches a third of the way in.

      Chapter 7.. like the first book, the first chapters of this book is really difficult to get into, the constant and repetitive questions from poppy is frustrating.. I do like Kieran he is funny but that is the only redeeming aspect of this book soo far..
      Chapter 22.. Poppy’s convenient naivety and repetitive questions is frustrating, very annoying.. she keeps giving herself 1000s of unrealistic reasons to make irresponsible decisions.. i cannot listen to this book anymore.. Am done.. This book is not worth the time or frustration.. am going back to the usual omega and Alpha fantasies..

      I must admit, the story is intriguing, so much possibilities, funny moments.. the writer has a brilliant mind and imagination but this narration is really not worth it..

      It’s slowly getting better. The first book got much more interesting towards the end. This started out interesting, but now it’s mostly just the two main characters talking. I mean I guess it’s nice to finally get a better understanding of this “world”, but we get it - she wants to be “free”, she was the “maiden”, he “lied to her,” blah blah blah. It doesn’t stop her from having sleeping with him though. We know where it’s going. The plot is fairly predictable in that sense.
