What a legacy! As I started reading it, I realized that it should be shared with others that grew up in the same time frame, who had parents or grandparents who grew up in the same time frame or was interested in everyday life in a rural area of Mississippi during the depression. I feel very blessed to have this book to hand down to future generations!
Due to finances, after his service to our country during WWII, my dad moved to the big city of Houston, Texas where he still lives. His heart, however, never left Perry County, Mississippi.
