She has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Management, which she obtained as a mature age student while raising her family of four children. She loves to read and write and with her partner has been an enthusiastic participant in amateur theatre for over twenty years.
Jude won the Society of Women Writers September Writers’ Marathon in both 2015 and 2016 and has attained second and third place in two other marathons.
She believes in promoting reading and writing for children and adults alike, at a local level, and is a member of two writers’ groups, where she contributes weekly. She is also a member of Sisters in Crime, a group based in Melbourne that provides support for women mystery writers.
Jude loves to travel and experience new things. She wouldn’t consider herself an adrenalin junky, but she does like to enjoy life to the fullest. She has parachuted, white-water rafted, ridden a mechanical bull, parasailed, hitch-hiked around Australia, ridden a Harley, and has loved living several times in New York City and New Orleans.view less
