It is still vivid in my mind when I saw some Shirley Temple movies, the skyscrapers in the big cities, and the American Indian stories. Growing up during WW2 and the totalitarian Nazi regime made me appreciate the American government and how it is constructed. I also wanted to be free. Berlin, Germany is my place of birth and I still love it, but there was hell to pay in WW2 and then the Russian Occupation. My life here in the USA was not always pleasant but when it is all said and done, we made it¯me, my black husband, and my five children. Thanks again, America.view less
