His researched focused on An Ethnographic Examination of Middle Grade Teachers’ Perceptions of Student Physical and Relational Bullying in an Urban School.
Dr. Dwayne Ruffin have been an educator for more than thirty years serving the learning community in the positions of Dean of Students, Interim Assistant Principal, Curriculum Developer, Training Manager/ Chief Instructor, and Teacher. As an educator and retired U.S. Army non-commissioned officer Dr. Ruffin learned a facilitative approach to anti-bullying prevention and conflict resolution. Among fellow educators, he became the “ go-to guy” for resolving conflicts among students.
This book as well as the development of the Bullying Resolution Model is one of the many fruits of his labor to be shared. Dr. Dwayne Ruffin still resides in Chicago, Illinois and works at Chicago Public Schools.
