I began my health journey after my third knee surgery and a couple years after having my daughter. I decided I wanted to learn more about nutrition and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I spent a total of 15 years in the United States Air Force. It was during that time that I developed my passion for helping others.
Over the past few years, I accomplished many things. However, I kept thinking about what I had not accomplished and the failures. I did not allow myself to cherish the successes. This ended in a downward spiral and a ton of depression. I finally got to the point where enough was enough. I had to learn how to turn the mirror around. I had to become aware of why I was allowing things in my past to dictate my present outcome. I had to truly develop a mindset of self-love and self-worth. I also had to understand the failures were not negative aspects of my life. They all set me up for where I am now. Everything that happened to me happened for me. While it took me this long to truly figure that out, I am grateful to have allowed myself to understand that concept and use it as fuel to help other women who may be going through similar situations or allowing their past to limit their future.
Through my own life experiences and knowledge acquired along the way, came this book.
I want to share these tools so others can free from themselves from their own limitations. I am truly passionate about helping parents and giving them these tools to pass down to their children and generations to follow. Let’s create a new destiny for these kids and empower them to always reach for the stars.
My vision is to build a community where men and women feel supported in their goals and where new relationships and friendships develop. I want people to know they have somewhere to go when they feel as though the walls are closing in. I also want them to be champions of their own lives so they can truly show up for their families. I am a mom on a mission to empower other moms and other people around the world to become the best possible version of themselves in every way possible. It all starts with the mind.view less
