Introduction
IF YOU DESIRE TO BE truly successful, first decide what it is you want to achieve. How can you get what you want in life, unless you have decided what it is you actually want?
You need to be setting goals. As I write, it is January, and a lot of people set New Year resolutions at the start of January, in which they set a goal to do something in the year ahead, whether realistic or not.
Whatever time of year it is, though, you can set goals, aiming to live your life to the very fullest, and aim to achieve anything near your full potential. You need to have a goal and you need to accurately know what it is that you want to accomplish.
Which sounds easy enough, right?
It is not that easy, but there is actually an art to writing goals. There is a very definitive right way

to write a goal.
And if you go about your goal setting in the wrong way, then you can actually reduce your chances of accomplishing those goals. That’s right: a bad goal will actively hinder your chances at success.
However, if you write your goal in the correct way, then it can completely transform your chances of success, and help you to much more reliably carry out all the necessary steps to complete your plan.
How can you achieve success in setting the right goal — and doing it right? This comes down not only to the methodology and phrasing but also the content. You should be careful what you wish for, as the saying goes.
What can happen if you write your goals in the wrong manner is that you can end up achieving your goals, and then not actually
