Chris Hughes is the co-founder of the Economic Security Project, a network of policymakers, academics, and technologists working to end poverty and rebuild the middle class through a guaranteed income. He co-founded Facebook as a student at Harvard and later led Barack Obama’s digital organizing campaign for President. Hughes was the owner and publisher of The New Republic magazine from 2012 to 2016. He lives in New York’s Greenwich Village with his family. Chris is the author of Fair Shot: Rethinking Inequality and How We Earn.

If you coach children aged 4-6, coach in an under 5’s or under 6’s football team or you are the chairman of a club with an under 5’s and 6’s team, then this series of books was written for you.

Philosophy
My structure is built upon three core components. These components are the building blocks of the curriculum.
• LOVE— Inspire – Care for each player so that they never forget how special we made them feel. We can use football to engage and inspire young players to build better lives for themselves, helping them to realise their own self-worth. I think this programme can position a player for a lifetime of success in and out of football.
• LEARNING— Repetition - Deliberate practice is the key to learning. To master new skills, players need to receive a high
