PREFACE
About twenty-five years ago, a few Arab cities, and later international ones, witnessed the birth of these words, which were called metaphorically wisdoms for the similarity that the context reflects in form and not necessarily in substance.
The wisdoms that have been persistently cast on the roads of our lives have not always made going through those roads easy and fast as it was hoped by those who received these wisdoms out of the audience; thus, there is no purpose for my words in this book more sublime than to make life’s journey of one easier and more comfortable.
What follows this preface, I hope, is Wisdom Highway for those who still value reading as a useful knowledge and pleasure tool in life.
The chapter titled Access to the Highway
is nothing but a redefinition of life from a different and not necessarily argumentative point of view. And since what follows the Access
might be more contentious, there is nothing wrong with some Jests on the Highway,
especially before we hit the Humps,
which are a direct confrontation with the traditional wisdoms.
Although the entire Highway
is a kind of confrontation with the conventional wisdoms, the Humps
are often meant to clash directly with such conventional wisdoms, unlike the case with the other parts of the Highway,
including the zigzags that regularly exist along any highway.
Of course, no road, no matter how it is designed to be a highway, will be free of Checkpoints,
as long as those in charge of it consider the integrity of its journeys; so what if the journey is life itself?
Since the design pays attention to the structural safety of the Highway,
everyone who decides to go through this Highway
bears the responsibility as there is nothing in the terms and conditions of this journey that guarantees the safety of the thoughts of the passengers on Wisdom Highway.
I wish the passengers then an adventure full of excitement and pleasure of exploration, but absolutely not safety of their thoughts.

ACCESS TO THE HIGHWAY
43834.png Life: That which pulls out from under your feet while you are busy pushing it forward.
43834.png Democracy: The people’s choice of which dictatorship they want to rule them.
43834.png Trust: The most appropriate to be compared to a matchstick that is lit once.
43834.png Hunger: That confederate friend of the failing chef.
43834.png If: A magical tool that gives us legitimacy to await hope in the past.
43834.png Miracles: The name we give to what we do not want to believe could happen.
43834.png Your reputation: What others want from you.
43834.png Good and evil: At times, they confuse me to the point that I think they are interchangeable.
43834.png The impossible: Not what we cannot do in the future but what we could not do in the past.
43834.png The key: Although its first action is to close, it is connected in the mind with opening.
43834.png Infinity: Your tiredness of continuing to count.
43834.png The woman is the man, if most of those who wrote were women.
43834.png Plagiarism: A weak shot that reaches your colleague or opponent so that they make it for themselves and score it in your goal.
43834.png Life: What we distract ourselves with to escape from death, even by passing time thinking about it.
43834.png Experience: An experiment you have practiced. And that others may pass through without having an impact on them, if they do not encounter the same pain as you did in the experiment.
43834.png The heaviest of worries: That which I had to bear alone.
43834.png Disturbing talk: Very important words directed to you, while you are drawn to something fleeting.
43834.png The best days of my annual vacation: The week before it begins.
43834.png Darkness: The color of black light.
43834.png You do not lie when you are able to handle the truth.
43834.png The difference between stupidity and genius is how much experimentation a society allows.
43834.png The difference between a problem and its solution: Another problem.
43834.png My convenience: The burden I choose.
43834.png Your outstanding biography: Showing your genius, to let them weave legends around you.
43834.png Life is an adventure. Perhaps, most accurately, it is gambling.
43834.png Vogue: We talk about its negatives and forget that it is the direct cure for boredom.
43834.png Happiness: A short-term respite from the truth.
43834.png Life: It is a vigilant observation to capture a fleeting moment of joy. This fleeting moment becomes, when the hours of pain come, a motive for anticipating another fleeting moment.
43834.png An unlucky person: A person whose strengths may outweigh their weaknesses, but life decided to choose the latter.
43834.png The biggest problem: Being busy solving a complex problem and knowing that another, more complex one, is waiting for you after it.
43834.png Leadership: The art of managing every talent that you lack.
43834.png To live your life is to choose how you would rather waste
