About this ebook

Only One God, in every sense of the phrase, is cognizant of the fact that there is only one God and mediator between God and men: the Man, Jesus Christ! This title has depicted my certainty and belief that He that sitteth in the heavens is beyond measure and incomparable to any so-called gods. Jesus Christ is the one and true Lord and Savior, and no one goes to the Father without acknowledging Him.

In every aspect of life, God can be seen. I see Him everywhere--in the eyes of His newborns and the mothers holding them. I see Him in the fellowship and joy at church. In the beauty of all creation, He is visible. In the common man working hard to provide for his family and the rich who have been blessed and much responsibility required, God is seen. In the courts trying to ensure justice and human flaws which, at times, beg to differ, God is evident in taking evidence. In the heart of the merciful, God is seen in an omnipotent peace, one mankind struggles to understand. He lives and reigns and can be seen in the rains. The sun shines to glorify His glory. Upon the waves of the ocean, beneath a powerful horizon, God, the creator of it all, can be seen.

The light of God is shown everywhere. His presence transcends the boundaries of our minds. His ways are beyond comparison, known and found in every aspect.

    Isaiah 55:8–9,

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

The omnipotence in His irrefutability brings marvel to the wise and comfort to the yearning of His wisdom, endlessly abounded in the existence of mankind and creation. The beauty of it all allows one to see themselves and others the way God sees us in unconditional lights of love and devotion. I owe this effort to Jesus Christ Himself, the love of my family, and my wife who loves the Lord God dearly, to whom I can honestly say, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Blessed in less and blessed in abundance, the works of God’s hands marvelously construct the mind, body, and soul into one accord with the spirit, structured as one with the Holy Spirit. I find the way, the truth, and the life in knowing that He sought me effortlessly, set me free, and led me into green pastures of peace.

God’s peace has no equivalence to man’s peace, without blemish, and declares heavenly magnitudes. May this peace rest upon your hearts and minds and flow through your homes and family members like the rivers of water.

The sacrifice made through Jesus Christ for all to be saved is notably a factor. As to the sacrifice unto God, we should make it to achieve the goodness and desires of our hearts. Therefore, Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised) (Hebrews 10:23).

May you be encouraged to hold firm to the faith in God in all your endeavors, knowing that in all your sacrifices, there is a day they shall be answered in His timing. Glory to God.

All things in their intricate design are owed to Him. This book of thoughts is owed to Him, inspired by Him, and constructed by Him who strengthens me to do so. I love the trials and the journeys as they give me the knowledge to know the necessity of growth, the levels of patience, and the passion of Christ, hence accumulating spiritual strength and longevity—stamina beyond the mind’s comprehension and energy to appreciate the complexities that bring you down physically and mentally.

Prohibit your mind against avenues of doubt and fallacy, and mold it strongly by allowing the Lord your heart, mind, and spirit to be constructively reborn in Jesus Christ. His ways surmount all knowledge and wisdom, conformed to make us all whole again. Beauty is found in the shattered who can see and believe God’s ability to do all things through all things, in all situations. You will be amazed by the new creation you emerge to be when His mighty hands lead you according to His will and purpose. Seek God in all things, with all your heart. Be still and know that He is God.

    Introduction

And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

    —Exodus 3:14

Only the true and living God lays claim to such words. Omnipotent sovereignty in His direction lays precedence to His glorious might and power, capable of transforming the scared and weak into the mighty, and more than able to break down all strongholds and principalities or whatever powers that may be. I view this from all standpoints as the mandate to experience the beauty in spiritual life. Oneness in mind, body, and soul aligns with the Holy Spirit of God. Upon life’s essence, I perceive the Lord Mighty in all His glory. As Moses was allowed to get a glance at Him, I gaze upon His radiance in all things. In the rendering of the heart, mind, body, and spirit, we receive His commands, giving us the ability to declare the Great I AM.

But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sin (Micah 3:8).

The power given unto us in aligning ourselves with the Holy Spirit embraced through Jesus Christ and the inclusion of God’s love transcends and engulfs all things, overcomes everything, and declares God’s will entirely to all mankind. It is accumulated through our prayers and supplication. We sacrifice our selfish desires, pride, and indignant ways, casting them all along with our cares at the feet of Jesus Christ, our transformation into elements of God’s power. It is not shown through our will but His will being done.

Looking back at my youthful days, I realize all transitions, difficulties, and experiences were molding factors into what God has called me to be: a prayerful child of His and a lover of His presence. This realization could not be concluded without seeing, feeling, and believing the power of prayer along with the power of the Spirit of the Lord, His ever-present glory upon all His children. Therefore, remember that in all things, we should pray and not be weary. In our emotional states, be mindful that being full of power by the Spirit of the Lord is accumulated through prayer. In reference, Luke 18:1 states, And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

And the substantial addition to that, Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me’ (John 14:6).

Know that through acknowledging Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have acknowledged God as our eternal source, sustenance, and Father. Only through Jesus can we experience the will of God, the life God deems for us, and the path to eternal life. It is through Jesus the world was saved, and through Him, we shall see eternal life.

Without the sacrifice that God has allowed by giving Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection glory, we would not understand the meaning behind God’s true path, how much He loves us, and the right and sound purpose of the way we should live. Through Jesus, we get a clearer view of the heart of God and His desire for us to overcome the sins that aim to destroy us. We, as believers, can see the plans He has for us with all certainty. This vision can only be achieved through Jesus Christ.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

The purpose of the Son of God is to understand the multidimensional capability of God, whereas Jesus is one and the same with the Holy Spirit and God Himself, as stated in John 14:9:

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, ‘show us the Father?’

Jesus has expressed Himself in the spiritual aspect of declaration, which is the one and true God in the flesh. With faith and our acts of belief in God, we declare Jesus above all things—a spiritual inclination that gives us vision beyond the flesh. In following the ways of Jesus Christ, we transition ourselves to receive the Holy Spirit, given to us as our guide and comfort, knowing Jesus is standing at the right hand of the Father and clearly has prepared a place for us in the realms of heaven.

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God (Acts 7:55).

The lead to developing this book is knowing the truth in Jesus Christ, the intricacy of God’s righteous ways, and what path we should choose as mankind. I introduce my thoughts to you as fellow brothers and sisters in God. Peace and love to you all.

    Long-suffering

A true test of the Christian life is that we have the ability to endure long-suffering. This is the ability to withstand
