image-placeholderHello Beautiful Reader,
Welcome to the Beau Monde. Most, if not all, of my books are part of an interconnected world with the Good Dukes, where it all started. This series, The Ashbourne Legacy follows the 7 brothers of Snow White, and it has some enchanting fairytale vibes for you.
If you like SWEET & SPICY, you are in for a treat.
I love to write funny, easy, breezy stories where the characters learn things about themselves and the world around them, all the while continuing to reach for hope, joy, and above all, LOVE.
Love always wins. Love never fails.
You will always read a happy ending in my stories.
I write to have fun, and so I make stories fit into a historical context, but I often take leeway with history. SO, if you are looking for a 100% accurate depiction of historical language and settings, please put this book down. You will be disappointed. And I don’t want that. You don’t want that. Neither of us wants you to be disappointed. Let’s just be happy. The world is a hard enough place as it is.
IF, however, you don’t mind to sacrifice some historical truths in the name of LOVE and HUMOR, AND you want to read about some HOT men falling head over heels in love with some INTELLIGENT, STRONG, INDEPENDENT women, then read on, dear reader.
Much love,
Eliana Piers

HEART OF GOLD I tell you,
the dowager duchess of Whitewood chuckled. I’m not biased in the least.
She shook out the leaves in her hands as she replaced them in the vase. Of course I know he’s my son, but he’s one of seven, and I don’t say the same thing about all my sons.
She sent a coy smile to Della. Heart of gold. Wouldn’t you agree?
One thousand percent Lady Della, daughter to The Earl of Woburn, agreed. But she had to taper her agreement. She would feel foolish gushing about her love for Mavis’ third son, no matter how long she had known and loved the dowager. Being neighbors made their families close, but she wasn’t willing to divulge just how close. Especially to the mother of the man she had loved her entire life. Or at least since he gave her a fish for her eighth birthday. It was the only pet her parents would allow her to keep. Until now.
No, she wasn’t willing to share her heart. Besides, her and her heart had just had a heart to heart this morning about how they would no longer pine after the boy-turned-man with a heart of gold. No matter how broad his shoulders were. No matter how enticing he looked when he raked his hands through his hair. And, in particular today, no matter how charming he was when he was hosting his annual garden party to encourage the ton to adopt a pet in need.
She groaned. Today, he would be exceedingly charming. There was no denying it. But she could start to deny her heart and move on. Plenty of women experienced unrequited love. She wasn’t the only woman on the planet who would drop to her knees for a man who didn’t love her. But between being a woman who managed or mismanaged one-sided love, she was going to be a woman who managed it well. Starting now.
Are you alright?
Mavis asked.
Yes, of course. Why do you ask?
