As I read the beginning, where the Hallmark movie type of story was eloquently condemned, I was thinking that this would definitely be my kind of book. BUT this turned out to be THAT EXACT kind of story. 😖

I couldn't get past 50 pages. What a yawn. And the writing style is so average. I really don't understand the 5 star reviews. Maybe it's just the genre. I wanted to give chick lit/romance books a try, but this has confirmed to me again that I just can't. Not my cup of tea at all.
