Recently joining the cast as series regular Nick Myers on the Emmy Award winning series The Bay, James Preston is no stranger to television, having appeared as a guest star on several popular episodic's, including CBS's Blue Bloods and CSI: NY. He starred in the recurring role of Lukas Ford on ABC's prime time drama The Gates, opposite Frank Grillo and more recently as the antagonist in the Hallmark feature film Aloha With Love.

Preston is known for his portrayal of James Dean in the controversial cult critically acclaimed and award-winning indie feature motion picture Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean, currently available on streaming. He often collaborates with indie horror film director Samuel Gonzalez, Jr. starring in several of his films including Woodland Heights, where he received a best actor nomination, The Passage, and most recently the feature motion picture The Plastic Men. Preston is also set to appear in the upcoming 80's themed feature horror Brute 1986 from director Marcel Walz.

Prior to his acting career, Preston was an established model for high fashion brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Polo, Saks Fifth Ave and many more. He was also an established motocross racer for team Kawasaki in his earlier years.
