Raychel Diane Weiner is jump starting her career in the television and
film industry as a lead actor in the highly anticipated Starz drama
Flesh and Bone, created by Moira Walley-Beckett; a writer and producer
of Breaking Bad. Playing the role of Daphne, the "edgy rocker" of the
ballet world, Raychel has started her journey to transition from a
professional dancer to a relevant actor.
She began her dance training in Southern California under the direction of Diane Lauridsen, Charles Maple, Amanda Mckerrow, and John Gardner. Raychel quickly went on to have an exciting career as a professional with such companies as, St. Louis Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theater, Ballet Arizona and Post:Ballet with which she still remains a principle dancer. With an extensive career in dance, Raychel is bridging the gap between her passion for dance and acting with her new role.
Raychel comes from a long line of artists in the entertainment industry, including musicians, actors, famed photographers and music producers. During a brief hiatus from her professional career due to an injury, Raychel ventured into the fashion world working both with an Australian clothing line and traveling the US as a hair stylist for celebrities and musicians.
With the discipline of an artist and performer, and the fearlessness to venture into uncharted territory, Raychel is on the fast track to becoming one of the greats and has no intention of slowing down the momentum she has built for herself.
