Student Consumer Information

Consumer Information/ Student Success/ Student Right to Know

This website empowers current and prospective students to make informed decisions regarding their higher education opportunities with John Jay College.  The Higher Education Opportunity Act  (Commonly abbreviated as HEOA) requires colleges and universities to disclose information including general information, student financial assistance, health and safety policies, student outcomes, and intercollegiate athletic program participation rates and financial data.  It is more than a disclosure- it is a commitment that aligns with our mission to enable a “community of motivated and intellectually committed individuals who explore justice in its many dimensions.”  Our students aspire “to pursue advanced study and meaningful, rewarding careers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.”  As part of this commitment, we believe that it is a good practice to disclose information that allows current and prospective students to make informed decisions.
