One of my favourite bands of all time, especially when TBHC was released. At that time they were expressing themselves in their true colors, I believe, finally breaking that The Strokes era. Well last year (after years of waiting) I saw them live and... Damn. One of the best gigs I attended in my life.

people are just mad that they don't have 7 albums that sound the same to their favourite one. it's called sound progression, experimenting with new things and seeing where they can go. having many albums that sound the same is kind of a snoozy discography, while some people can do this and still be great. and of course they're gonna sound different live and play stuff from all of their albums?! they're not just going to open up spotify on their phones and connect it to the speakers and sit there. it's live music! giving people a little bit of everything from different albums and getting that live sound. they're all 40 in the next year or 2, they're not in their 20s anymore. if they're still not your thing, cool. just don't go around shitting on music artists, instead say something like "not my thing personally" kindly and be on your way! :)
