Lightspeed Magazine is a digital science fiction and fantasy magazine edited by bestselling editor John Joseph Adams. Lightspeed launched in June 2010, and since then has published a mix of original and reprinted fiction from both established pros and bestsellers and exciting newcomers.

Our current fiction publication schedule each month includes four original short stories/novelettes, two short story/novelette reprints, and two original pieces of flash fiction. We also publish three book reviews in each issue.

Our ebook issues are published on the first of every month, which are available for sale on our website and at Amazon, Kobo, and other ebook vendors. Each issue’s contents are serialized on our website throughout the month, with new features publishing on the first four Thursdays of every month. Ebook issues also include a novel excerpt as bonus content not available in the online version of the magazine.
