Join us Tuesday, January 7 at 2:30 pm for a special hybrid lecture featuring jazz legend Ernie Watts and blues harmonica virtuoso Corky Siegel. These longtime friends continue to collaborate in celebrated performances and acclaimed recording projects—Ernie is prominently featured on both recent releases from Corky’s Chamber Blues. Experience the sensational synergy of these two iconic masters, complemented by remarkable stories and humor from their extraordinary lives. The discussion will be moderated by Neil Tesser, an award-winning writer and radio host.

About the Presenters
Corky Siegel is known internationally as one of the world's great blues harmonica players, a blues pianist, a singer-songwriter, and the creator of Chamber Blues. Siegel was the co-founder of the Siegel-Schwall Band, and is a Blues Hall of Fame Inductee.
Ernie Watts is a Grammy-winning American jazz and R&B saxophonist who plays soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone. He has worked with Charlie Haden's Quartet West and toured with the Rolling Stones. You may know Watts from the notable sax riff on "The One You Love" from Glenn Frey's album No Fun Aloud.
Writer and radio host Neil Tesser has covered jazz in Chicago for more than 50 years. He authored The Playboy Guide to Jazzand has written liner notes for more than 550 albums, earning him a Grammy award. In 2015 he received the Jazz Journalists Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
