Matt Seybold is a Senior Advisor for Science and Services Integration within the NOAA/NESDIS Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering.  His career has focused on the utility of science capabilities, especially systems readiness for optimal customer benefit.  Matt previously served across NOAA as the GOES-R Data Operations Manager, a NESDIS User Services Coordinator, and the Product Area Lead for Air Quality and Tropical Products.  Prior to joining NOAA, Matt was the Division Chief for Air quality Measurements, Modeling, and Analysis and an operational air quality forecaster at the Maryland Department of the Environment.  He is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute program for Leadership in a Democratic Society and holds a M.S. in Atmospheric Science from N.C. State and B.S. degrees in Physical Sciences and Physical Geography from the University of Maryland.
