An architectural studio designed the four-story Bat Trang Pottery Museum as a way to pay homage to the traditions of the village that go back to the 11th century. The shape of the building is inspired by the shape of pots created on a potter's wheel and the terracotta colour references the earthen material and bricks used to build kilns.
