Monster Concept

This was made for a company that made 3D-printed figurines for TTRPGs. The turtle was sculpted in Zbrush. I made a low poly block out for the hut in Maya and then imported it into Zbrush for a high-res sculpt and to give it a bit more character. I then had to merge the two assets to make it a water-tight mesh that is 3D-printable.

Crystals grow deep beneath the desert's surface. These turtles inhabit and lurk through the caverns searching for crystals to consume. Using their chest mandibles, they crush and break down crystals for absorption.
