These beauties are made from winter nuptials, and are totally DIYable too!

This is a handmade felted wool Santa Lucia crown. The crown is made in the technique of needle and wet felting. This crown will be a great holiday accessory to celebrate the day of the winter solstice. The crown is decorated with green leaves, red berries and four candles. The crown is complemented by two cotton ribbons, so it is suitable for both toddlers and older children.

(Details; Crown, DIY below. Sweater, Vintage.) A perfect DIY for the winter months, and particularly lovely for the holidays. To make this sweet smelling crown it was rather simple. I clipped three long sprigs of Rosemary and secured them together with one inch sections of floral wire to fit around my head. I do love the look of Rosemary, however green clippings of any sort could be used, (such as Christmas tree clippings) as well as faux greens to make it last. Have a beautiful weekend…
