CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge. Special Abbreviation dc2tog (dc dec): [Yarn over, insert hook into st and draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops] twice, yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook. BOOT (make 2) Ch 9. Round 1: Work 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 5 ch, 6 dc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of beginning ch, dc in next 5 ch, 3 dc in last ch, slip st in top
