This document outlines the syllabus for a Digital Signal Processing course. The course aims to introduce analyzing discrete time signals and systems in the time and frequency domains. It covers classifying signals and systems, analyzing discrete time systems using techniques like the z-transform. It will also cover the discrete Fourier transform and fast Fourier transform algorithm. The course will teach designing digital filters, including FIR and IIR filters. Finally, it will provide an introduction to digital signal processors and address quantization effects.
