Code Pack consists of: Atropine 0.5 mg/5 ml syringe Sodium Bicarbonate 50 mEq/50 ml vial *See patient pre-printed Code Drug sheet Medication Adenosine Amiodarone Pediatric dosage (IV) 0.1 mg/kg (max: 6 mg) Repeat: 0.2 mg/kg (max: 12 mg) 5 mg/kg (max 300 mg) Adult dosage (IV) 6 mg Repeat 12 mg 150 to 300 mg, depending on indication 1 mg Remarks Rapid IV bolus Safest given over 30 minutes; adjust administration rate to urgency (give more slowly when perfusing rhythm present)

0.02 mg/kg Minimum dose: 0.1 mg Maximum single dose: Child: 0.5 mg Adolescent: 1 mg Repeat once if needed 20 mg/kg 0.01 mg/kg (1:10,000 conc) Maximum dose: 1 mg 0.001 mg/kg 0.5-1 g/kg Bolus: 1 mg/kg (max 100 mg) Infusion: 20-50 mcg/kg/min 25 mg/kg Max dose: 2 g 15 mg/kg over 30 to 60 min 1 mEq/kg 0.01 mg/kg given over 15 seconds (max dose 0.2 mg); may repeat with 0.01 mg/kg every min. up to a max total dose of 0.05 mg/kg or 1 mg, whichever is lowest 0.001 mg/kg 2 J/kg; 4 J/kg for subsequent shocks

Use with caution in patients with severe cardiac disease Paddles: Infant for < 1yr or < 10 kg. Adult for patients > 1 yr or > 10 kg. Pads sized for infant, child or adult. Should have separation between the 2 pads or paddles.
