Summary of Findings
1.1 Age
The largest group of the primigravida women was found on the age bracket of
percentage of 70.00%.
hypertension was derived form the selected variables: Causes, Signs and
causes, and signs and symptoms is “moderately aware” with a weighted mean of
derived from the selected variables: Exercise and Rest, Diet, Habits, and Pre-
natal check up
61
The practice of primigravida on pregnancy induced hypertension in
exercise and rest is “sometimes” with a weighted mean of 3.23, in diet and pre-
induced hypertension
A computed t value of 1.66, 1.10, 0.32 for causes, signs and symptoms,
and complications which are lower than the critical t value of 2.048, shows that
there is no significant relationship between age and level of awareness for these
three variables. For preventive measure a computed t value of 2.38 which was
higher than the critical t value of 2.048, shows that there is significant relationship
from the selected variables: Causes, Signs and Symptoms, Complications, and
Preventive Measures

A computed t value of 1.14, 0.51, 0.76, and 0.42 respectively shows that

these three variables. A computed t value of 2.39 for diet which is higher than the

mother to have regular pre-natal check up and proper diet during their
pregnancy.
2. The primigravida should not forget to exercise; this could help them to have a
good delivery.
3. The nursing students should utilized all the results of the study, promptly
