    How did Jamaica gain
    its independence?
    The independence of Jamaica refers to a series of
    events which led to and the declaration of the colony
    of Jamaicas independence, on the 6
    th
    of August 1962.
    Even though Jamaica is an independent country, why is
    it still in the commonwealth? Well, before the
    independence of Jamaica, the British empire ruled
    Jamaica. Once the independence of Jamaica came , the
    president decided for Jamaica to stay in the
    commonwealth games.

    Jamaica and whats its
    population?
    The capital of Jamaica, over 100 incidents in the last
    200 years. Over 16,000 kids and new bourns, so what
    is the capital of this beautiful country? Kingston, is the
    capital of Jamaica and has over 2,813,000 people!
    Wow! Imagine living there! And to add to that the size
    of Kingston is 480km2! Thats pretty small!

    YUUUUM! All these different types of food to try, but
    what are Jamaicas types of food? Well lets find out!
    The island Jamaica is most famous for its Jamaican
    Jerk Spice which is integral to the Jamaican cuisine.
    Jamaica is also home to Red Stripe Beer and
    Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee.
