    This instruction is for Windows 7 -64 bit

    You need to upgrade your Windows 7 with application compatibility for Windows XP
    Goto; http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
    Follow the 4 steps, download and install Windows XP mode and Windows Virtual PC
    After this installation you need to restart your PC.

    This is not possible if you run Starter or home version.

    To install applications in Windows XP mode, you start by selecting Windows XP Mode


    from the Windows 7 Start Menu. Now you can install the ordinary way.

    Downloading the Dormer Product Selector


    1. Create av temporary folder (eg. "temp") in your download folder.

    2. Visit www.dormertools.com and click on your language.

    3. On the left hand side click on "Product Selector".

    4. Click on the link "click here" to start the download

    5. Click on "Save".

    6. Select the folder "temp" that you have created and then click on "Save"

    7. The download starts


    8. When the download is complete, click on "Open Folder"

    9. Doubleclick on "Selector.zip".

    10. Click on "Extract".

    11. Select the folder "temp" again and click on "Extract".

    12. When the files are unzipped, open the folder "temp" and doubleclick on "START.EXE"

    13. Select your language and click on "Install the Selector"

    14. Select your Dialouge language and Measurement.

    15. At the next window click on "Install".


    16. If you are upgrading an older version, a message will say the the older will
    be overwritten. Click on "Install update"

    17. Select your Country and Dialouge Language, then click "Continue".

    18. This dialouge asks for the path to the price file. If you know the path
    click "Source file", if not click "Continue"
    (the price file can be added after the Product Selector is installed)

    The installation of the Product Selector is completed!


    The folder "temp" that you created can now be deleted.
