    Christ is coming again in like manner


    Notes:________________________________________________ As the disciples saw Him go.
    ______________________________________________ He’s coming for His blood bought ones
    Who watch and wait below.
    ______________________________________________
    Some would attempt to predict the day,
    ______________________________________________ But no one knows just when,
    ______________________________________________ Not even the angels in heaven,
    ______________________________________________ Much less we mortal men.
    ______________________________________________ Yet, as we discern the signs of the times,
    ______________________________________________ We know His return is nigh;
    The trumpet shall sound from heaven,
    ______________________________________________
    And the dead in Christ shall rise first;
    ______________________________________________ Then those alive in Him shall be caught up --
    ______________________________________________ No more suffering, hunger or thirst.
    ______________________________________________ What a time of rejoicing it will be
    ______________________________________________ When we meet our Lord in the air,
    ______________________________________________ Singing hallelujahs - Glory to God,
    Free from all trouble and care.
    ______________________________________________
    We mortals shall put on immortality
    ______________________________________________ In the twinkling of an eye,
    ______________________________________________ As we meet The King of Glory --
    ______________________________________________ At that reunion in the sky.
    ______________________________________________ Oh, what a glorious day that will be
    When we see His wonderful face….
    We’ll praise Him throughout eternity
    “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
    For His mercy and His grace.
    with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

    then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
    with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
    and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
