    Handling precautions

    Use

    OASE antifoam A is a foam control agent and an


    exceptionally powerful product for gas scrubbing

    systems, using OASE solvents.

    OASE antifoam A is based upon a blend of silica


    derivatives and silicon compounds.

    Wear suitable protections gloves and eye/face


    protection. In case of insufficient ventilation wear
    suitable respiratory equipment. To ensure
    homogeneity, it is recommended to stir the
    product before use. Before Use review the
    Material Safety Data Sheet for additional
    information.

    Labelling for handling

    The amount required to maintain control will


    depend primarily on the degree of degradation,
    level of particular matter, the presence of
    hydrocarbon or other contaminants and the
    parameters of the system. In general the maintenance requirement is between 0.2 and 2.0 ppm

    to the recirculation solution. OASE antifoam A


    can be diluted with isopropyl alcohol (I.P.A.) in a
    ratio 1:1 or further to 3:1.
