    Goal

    The scope of this e-learning program is to provide in-depth knowledge to understand, set up
    and maintain the taxation (Central taxes such as Withholding tax, Excise, Service tax and
    state taxes such as VAT and CST) needs of a business units in India.

    Content

    The India localization has by far been the most widely used and complex application for SAP
    R/3. This e-learning program is a compilation of contents gathered from a number of years of
    extensive working knowledge and understanding of India localization in SAP R/3.
    This e-learning program extensively covers all parts of logistics involving India taxation. It
    explains in detail the integration with R/3 - logistics components such as Sales and
    Distribution (Domestic, Export sales and utilization) & Materials Management (Domestic,
    Import purchases and special processes such as Subcontracting, Stock transfers and JVs)
    along with the workings of some statutory reports. It also fully explains the set up and
    processing of extended withholding tax in the relevant scenarios.
    The content of this e-learning program has been developed keeping in mind that the learner
    will have working knowledge of at least one of the logistics components (SD or MM) and FI in
    case of EWT.
