It is recommended that the C/Bs C26639 FIRE EXT CGO BTTL 2A, 2B, 2C (L7) and, if applicable,
C26601 FIRE EXT CGO BTL 2D, 2E, 2F (L12) on the P310 panel be temporarily opened while the
airplane is being powered on after an airplane has been powered down for any extended duration
(for longer than 24 hours). The circuit breakers should be restored after full airplane power is
applied. Failure to do so may result in an inadvertent discharging of Cargo Fire Extinguisher Squib
bottles.

Carry out General Visual Inspection of Forward Fuselage Exterior from the ground for obvious
damage, leakage, obstruction, security and condition i.a.w. AMM 05-41-00-210-801, including:
Service panels, doors and Hatches
Entry doors.
Communication/Navigation Antennas
Windows
Fwd outflow valve door.
Ports, vents, and drains.
Radome: Latches positively locked, paint not deteriorated.
Positive Press. Relief Valve: closed (bright coloured edge on valve not visible).
Crew oxygen cylinder overboard discharge indicator: green disc in place.
Pitot Static ports, TAT and Ice Detector probes and AOA sensors: covers installed
as required. Check and ensure that the Pitot Static Ports, TAT and Ice Detectors
Probes and AOA Sensors are free of any obstruction/foreign object and that they are
clean, including their surrounding areas.
Exterior lights: cleanliness.
Landscape camera window: clean with window cleaning agent.
Panels and fairing for missing fasteners
Check General Cleanliness ensuring No Dirty surfaces with grease, oil, or any unacceptable
un-clean condition. If found dirty arrange to clean or raise DD for cleaning at the earliest
opportunity.

Hydraulic lines and fittings.
Gear assembly: structural damage, evidence of leakage, all placards including red
tyre servicing instructions/placards for legibility.
Shock strut: correct extension, cleanliness. Wipe down exposed chrome with a clean
cloth that is soaked in MIL-H-5606 fluid (Aeroshell fluid 4 or 41).
Wheels: Corrosion, cracks, flaked or blistered paint, rim damage, loose/ damaged /or
missing tie bolts & tie bolt nuts; ensure the hubcaps are not loose.(i.a.w. AMM 32-4503-700-801)
Tires: Wear and damage. Check pressure, using a TPG, preferably when tires are
cool; inflate as necessary with NITROGEN to the correct pressure

affected AFT BRAKE ROD ASSY before further flight.
NOTE: The Spherical bearing is the one installed on the AFT BRAKE ROD to the AFT Brake
Unit attachment. Ref Tech Notice 32-027 for further details.

ACCORDANCE WITH UAE GCAA DG DIRECTIVE 09-2014 AND TN 35-013.
