SUNY Plattsburgh students seize the day

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. SUNY Plattsburgh has announced more opportunities for
students to travel - both inside and outside the United States. With the colleges
growing focus on experiential learning, students have the ability to explore the
world outside the campus and gain professional experiences.

Recently, the college created two more possibilities for involvement.

Geography is now offering a short-term study abroad program over SUNY
Plattsburghs winter break. The trip will focus on the culture diversity, as well as
health and wellness.

Students will depart Tuesday, Jan. 5, and return Friday, Jan. 15. Individuals
interested should contact Dr. Anne Bongiorno via email at
bongioaw@plattsburgh.edu, or visit the GEO office in Kehoe 210 to receive an
application.

SUNY Plattsburghs Public Relations Student Society of America chapter also holds a
spot on students calendars. Plattsburghs chapter will attend the national
conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Any student member of PRSSA, studying public relations or not, can partake in this
trip. Students will depart Nov. 6, and return Nov. 11.

Those interested should to contact Chapter President Flora Veitch,
fveit001@plattsburgh.edu, for further information.
