‘STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
(On March 13,2016 at approximately 1624 Fours, uniformed parol officers From the Prince George's County Police
Department notified the Prince George's County Public Safety Communications tha shots were Fre at the police sation
‘by an unknown suspect. The suspect red tvorounds atthe fom glass door ofthe Prince George's County Police
Department, District If Police Station shattering it. The District Il Staton is located at 7600 Barlowe Road Landover,
Prince George's County, Maryland. The suspec also fired at passing moorisis and a Prince George's County Fte/EMS
ambulance driving on Barlowe Road. Noah Snith ad Bryce Mendez were inside the Prince George's County Fire/EMS
ambulance that was struck by the suspects gurfre. Michiel Jerome Nichols, Jr. was operating one of the vehicles that
was struck by the suspects gunfire. Officers cam to the area ofthe front entrance ofthe police station to investigate.
Corporal John Wyakoop #2910 took up a posion at the frat door and the suspect fred thm barely missing him and
‘ther officers. The suspect then directed his frat Officer Bryan Melius #3870, Officer Matthew Seott #4024, Corporal
Jason Wels #3146, and Police Officer First Cl:ss Taylor Krauss #3556 who wis responding tothe scene ashe entered the
District I parking Tt. As police officers were responding to the shooting, Detective acai Colson #3693 also ative on
the scene and als ied toward the suspect. Daective Colson was suck bya bullet fied by another police ofices who
‘was involved in the exchange of gunfire with ke suspect. Detective Colon was transported to Prince George's County
Hospital where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead by Dr. Boggs.
Uniformed officers from the Pince George's Couny Police Department then mide apprehension on the suspect who was

and ELUAH DEION FORD, who ae siblings of MICHAEL DEANDRE FORD, assisted and supported MICHAEL
DEANDRE FORD’s pan to shoot at Prince George's Police Officers tthe Prince Gzorge's County Distt It Pol
Station. Both men told detectives that their brother MICHAEL DEANDRE FORD clscussed with then his pan to attack
the police and engage the police ina "shootout" MICHAEL DEANDRE FORD cycled the slide of his firearm inthe
presence of MALIK RUSSEL FORD AND ELUAH DEION FORD and plaed an aidtional magazine full of
