July 17 Per FCCs Constitution, the Personnel Committee is charged with establishing policies and procedures for the evaluation of church staff. As part of the annual performance review process, we seek and strongly encourage congregational feedback. It is important that we hear about positive aspects of a staff members performance as well as any areas of concern. All feedback will be carefully considered, and the committee will maintain confidentiality of your input.

Performance Review Time for FCC Staff

Forms are available electronically on the website and email. Hard copies are available in the office, Sunday school folders, and at Caf Bistro. Please complete forms for as many staff members as you chose by August 6th and return them Ron Elliott or in the office. While the Cayton family is enjoying a camping vacation out west for the next two weeks, we have some very special services planned. On July 22nd, Quinn Schipper, the Director of Stillwater Cares, will be preaching on the theme of humility and justice to the poor. We will also have a readers theater and a quartet singing for Special Music. On July 29th, Michael Davison, one of our Associate Regional Ministers, will be preaching about parables. We will have another work day at FCC on Saturday, July 21, from 9 to noon. All of the supplies needed will be provided, so just bring your fun-loving attitude and a bit of elbow grease to help us with a number of projects including: cleaning chairs, painting, cleaning air vents, replacing some ceiling tiles, washing light fixture covers, rearranging storage closets, power washing tables, cleaning glass shelves and window sills in the sanctuary, and other good things. Thanks for being part of the solution. John and Ron Applications are now available in the office for families who wish to receive assistance to help cover school supplies and needs for their school age children in Payne County. Please stop by the office and fill out an application, and share this information with your friends and family in the area. But hurry! Funds are limited, and we assist on a first come, first serve basis.

WOW!!! I was overwhelmed at the love lavished on me and my family Sunday. We will miss you all. Many have mentioned that we have left several holes and gaps that will need to be filled. The bracelet is beautiful. I will wear it and think of my family here. The cards and well wishes were filled with words of care and comfort that I will treasure. Aaron and I will enjoy the subscription to Christian Century that the elders have given us. It will feed us both spiritually and theologically, I am sure. My hope is that we have left love, hope, and room for growth as the church grows into its ever evolving call in this community. You all possess the gifts that the church needs. I trust you will do even greater things than you have done. I will close with words from one of my favorite singer-songwriters, Carrie Newcomer, "When one door closes another door opens wide. It's hard to believe all of the locked doors I've tried. You can pray for what you want or what you have instead. You can only offer up your heart and ask that you be lead." Blessings as you open doors and offer your hearts. Until we meet again, LeAnn
