August 08-Current Cuyahoga Falls High School Cuyahoga Falls, OH Teacher Classroom teacher with five years of experience in various classroom settings ranging from ninth to twelve grade. Use the ADDIE, TPACK and SAMR models to successfully implement and integrate technology into classrooms. Developed web-based learning systems that students use in class and teachers utilize to complete annual training modules related to human resources and technology. List of classes taught: Cognitive Algebra 1, Algebra 1, Enriched Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. Operated, maintained and assisted in the development of the Department of Defense DFAS internal ePortal website. Provided telephone and e-mail support for the ePortal. Ensured that the daily maintenance of the ePortal was completed. Assisted in the development, programming and database support of an Overtime Portlet for use within the Department of Defense DFAS ePortal website. Assisted in the development and maintenance of an internal Java program: PQR. February 07-May 07 Coventry Junior High School Akron, OH Student Teacher Designed and implemented lesson plans that were aligned with the Ohio Academic Content Standards for two classes: Algebra Concepts and Geometry Math Lab. Motivated students to enjoy mathematics by providing them with historical facts, as well as taught the importance of mathematics in many careers. Program Tutor Tutored inner-city and suburban middle and high school students in Basic Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. Tutored college undergraduates in College Algebra and the Calculus sequence. Used mathematical manipulatives to teach by way of a hands-on approach.
