HGMS is a portable roadway system that prevents vehicles becoming bogged down... HGMS is the ideal solution for: Rapid access and egress of heavy vehicles, including tanks and bridge transporters. Multi-climate operations. HGMS handles snow, ice, desert, swamp and jungle terrain with ease. Creating a long roadway using the unique spool to spool transfer system. Avoiding environmental damage and logistical challenges of ruts forming in the ground. Humanitarian and disaster relief operations. HGMS is compatible with many 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles with DROPS/PLS-type systems and has recently been fitted to IVECO, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Oshkosh, Renault, Scania, TATRA and Volvo. Each HGMS comprises of 50m TRACKWAY mounted on a TRACKRACK. Further 50m TRACKWAY sections are mounted on a SPOOLRACK which can be transported by trailer. The unique SPOOL to SPOOL system quickly transfers TRACKWAY from the SPOOLRACK to the TRACKRACK for deployment.
HGMS is DROPS/PLS mounted to a variety of vehicles with a minimum chassis-cab payload capability of 20 tonnes.

HGMS is used worldwide to ensure expeditionary forces can tackle the toughest terrains on earth. It prevents vehicle damage and protects environments. HGMS gets you there, faster.
To rm ground, tracks, etc. MLC 70 TRACKWAY 4.6m (15ft) wide HEAVY PONTOON BRIDGE MLC 70 TRACKWAY
MLC 30 TRACKWAY 3.35m (11ft) wide from existing wheeled vehicle route
Situation: Rapid installation of a tactical bridge is required to enable essential vehicle access to an operational area. Problem: Potential erosion of river banks on each side of the bridge due to repeated heavy traffic. Solution: HGMS is rapidly deployed 25m is laid at one side of the bridge, then split and the remaining 25m length of TRACKWAY is laid at the other side this entire operation is conducted in less than 10 minutes by only two personnel.
It is unusual to have a project delivered ahead of time. Well done to the FAUN TRACKWAY team.
Brigadier Carell Army Chief of Land Forces, Sweden The SPOOL to SPOOL system quickly transfers TRACKWAY from the SPOOLRACK to the TRACKRACK for deployment.
Situation: Vehicles, personnel and equipment need to be moved over difficult terrain. Problem: The ground is wet and boggy which causes vehicles to become stuck. Solution: MGMS is rapidly deployed from the flatbed vehicle. TRACKWAY is laid to create a 32m roadway. This entire operation is conducted in less than 6 minutes by only two trained individuals.
MGMS is a lightweight portable roadway system that prevents vehicles becoming bogged down. MGMS is widely used in logistical operations and is deployed by 6x6 or 4x4 flatbed vehicle. MGMS is deployed rapidly and is reusable. MGMS is the ideal solution for: Rapid access and egress of medium and lightweight wheeled vehicles. Creating approach roads to bridgeheads. Temporary repair of damaged road surfaces. Creating vehicle parking areas. Avoiding environmental damage and logistical challenges of ruts forming in the ground. Humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
MGMS is able to withstand repeated loads of 30 tonnes and is rapidly deployed using minimal manpower.
AGMS is a very versatile and great value deployment system for users with requirements for both heavy and light TRACKWAY.
Situation: Vehicles, personnel and equipment need to be unloaded from a military vessel. Problem: The sand on the beach is wet and boggy which causes vehicles to become stuck. Solution: AGMS, affixed to a medium wheeled tractor, is used to rapidly deploy MLC 30 or MLC 70 TRACKWAY as required. The TRACKWAY is laid from the beach to the nearest permanent roadway this entire operation is conducted in less than 10 minutes by only two trained individuals. TRACKWAY naturally sinks into the water to aid a straightforward beach deployment.
VRM is a kit of two aluminium mats that are laid by hand to assist in the recovery of vehicles. VRM is deployed rapidly and is reusable. Situation: A vehicle becomes bogged in the snow, sand or mud. Problem: Other vehicles in the convoy are held up by the bogged down vehicle. Solution: VRM kits are unpacked and are assembled next to the front tyres of the bogged down vehicle. Slight acceleration is applied to allow the tyres to make full contact with the VRM non-slip surface. The vehicle gains traction and the VRM are then recovered by hand and packed away. VRM is the ideal solution for: Rapid mobilisation of vehicles bogged down in sand, mud, ice, snow or swamp. Humanitarian and disaster relief operations. Operations where equipment must be kept minimal and a full TRACKWAY system cannot be used. VRM utilises TRACKWAY technology the mats are rated to MLC 70 and MLC 30, and are capable of withstanding heavy and awkward loads. VRM is reusable, packaged in kit form, and is 100% recyclable.
After speaking with our customers and military personnel from all over the world, our engineers designed a product that is flexible, robust and able to act as a critical recovery tool.
The entire FAUN TRACKWAY product range can be utilised in traditional military and civilian Forward Operating Base (FOB) infrastructure, creating lasting and reliable walkways, roads, landing zones and tent flooring. FAUN TRACKWAYs unique range of expedient aluminium solutions can be used in all FOB Infrastructure scenarios, for example: Utilise MLC 70 TRACKWAY to create temporary roadways for heavy vehicles such as heavy logistic support equipment, tank and bridge transporters. The HEAVY GROUND MOBILITY SYSTEM deploys and recovers 50m of MLC 70 TRACKWAY in less than 6 minutes. 50m lengths can be joined together to create perimeter roads or can be split to create access and egress points from bridge installations. Utilise MLC 30 TRACKWAY to create temporary roadways for medium and lightweight vehicles. The MEDIUM GROUND MOBILITY SYSTEM deploys and recovers 32m of MLC 30 TRACKWAY in less than 6 minutes. Utilise PSA FT to create laydown areas, tent floorings in vehicle or aircraft storage and maintenance areas. Create Helicopter Landing Zones (HLZ) using PSA FT. Its modular formation lends itself to create HLZ in a variety of sizes. Install FAUN membrane underneath the PSA FT to reduce brownout and protect the PSA FT panels. Install runways for UAV and drone take-off and landing. PSA FT is specially designed to be fitted with arrestor gear and has a flat surface designed to ensure a smooth landing surface to reduce damage to vital assets. Install runways using industry designed and tested landing matting. FAUN S-SERIES expedient aluminium panels are designed to create runways for 21st century aircraft, from transporters to fighter jets.
FAUN TRACKWAY is the premier solution for FOB infrastructure, with a wide range of products that provide optimum mobility in any terrain or climate.
