__________________________________________________________________ Situation: Library A and B are partners for Science Club project.

A: Lets go to the library. B: I guess I can study at home.(Violating the maxim of relevance) A: But Madam says that she will come to drill us. B: She surely got much leisure time.(Violating the maxim of relevance) A: So are you coming? B: Didnt you see that Im walking?(Violating the maxim of quality)

On the way A: You dont really want to come to the library today, arent you? B: Do I have a choice?(Violating the maxim of quality) A: Dont worry. Well be home before noon. B: But I love to enjoy morning at home.(Violating the maxim of relevance)

In the library A: Biology is hard, isnt it?

In the middle of discussion A: I think we need some fresh air. B: Theres cafeteria downstairs.(Violating the maxim of relevance) A: Do you want to join me for a cup of coffee? B: Nothing can beat the coffee at home.(Violating the maxim of quality-disagree) B prefer coffee at the home A: Then Ill go first. Can you take a look at my stuff? B: That is why Im here. Looking after your stuff. (Violating the maxim of quality)
