I. Corporate Overview Affiliates

As of end-1H 2012, Samsung Group had a total of 84 domestic affiliates. Compared to end-2011, 8 new affiliates (Colombo Korea, Saengbo real estate investment company #1, Idea Company Prog, Samsung Bioepis, Samsung Display, Top Cloud Corporation, Samsung Corning Advanced Glass, LLC., Nuri Solution) were added and two (Samsung LED, Medison Healthcare) were excluded.
