Stone Base Using Paver
The Pug mill Mixer will be located at the source of the material (Quarry site at Km 113 and/or at Iganga) The main purpose for the use of the pug mill will be to achieve uniform and controlled mixture of the GCS at the required moisture content. Mixed GCS from the pug mill through the conveyor will be loaded onto tipper trucks and hauled to the paver along the road alignment. Laying of the GCS base will be done by a similar method as that of laying DBM using a paver, including compaction works. .. Equipment and Plant to be used A.
