here are the basics:
1.) Go to this link:
http://www.nabp.net/programs/examination/fpgec/fpgec-application/ Request a form, if you're in USA mga 2-3 days nasa iyo na yung form, if philippines ang recipient (3 weeks), request a form free lang yan.
2.) Request a 2 "sealed" copy of documents from UIC of the following: 1 copy of transcript, diploma, certificate of graduation and course curriculum. Remember claim the sealed docs, hindi UIC ang magpapadala ng documents kasi isasama mo yang mga copies na yan sa ECE and NABP na papers along side other needed documents.
Each sealed envelop needs to be addressed to the following: a.) Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. P.O. Box 514070 Milwaukee WI 53203-3470 USA
b.)National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee 1600 Feehanville Drive Mount Prospect, IL 60056 USA
3.)The following documents are needed to be dry-sealed and notarized HANDWRITTEN by a lawyer, basically the lawyer needs to write the following: I have reviewed the original document and attest that this is a true and exact copy of the original. - The FPGEE application form - 2 Identification photocopies (passport pwede na)
4.) Go to PRC have your PRC license and PRC board Certificate (in my case i also included the board rating) photocopied (2 copies) and sealed sa envelope. This is tricky, kasi yung ibang tao sa prc paimportante sasabihin nila sila ang magpapadala pero nope hindi sila, all they need to do is authenticate the photocopies and sealed sa envelope then they'll be the one to type the address (isa sa ECE and isa sa NABP; same address as given above).
5.) Go to this link: http://www.ece.org/nabp Register for assessment, kunin mo lang yung 85$ worth na assessment for FPGEE, remember to double check and base your answers regarding educational background sa nakalagay sa UIC TOR, asa right upper corner siya .Print the order form cause this will be included sa file na ipapadala mo as bulk to ECE.
6.) Payment for nabp can be money gram, or manager's check.
7.) If complete na ang requirements these should be the final documents:
7-a.) ECE Application contains: (place everything in a brown envelope) -UIC documents (2 signed and sealed envelopes, each containing 1 original copy of diploma, official transcript of records, certificate of graduation and course curriculum) - 1 photocopy of diploma of UIC (remember notarized handwritten with dry seal) - Print-out of ECE application form -PRC documents (1 signed and sealed white envelope containing the authenticated certified photocopies of my license ID and board certificate; envelope addressed to ECE) Note: No document from UST is needed
7.b) NABP Application contains: (placed everything in a brown envelope) -Pink envelope with money order worth $800.00 -White envelope with completed and notarized application form - 2 2x2 photos - Certified photocopy of my passport (for photo identification) - PRC documents (1 signed and sealed white envelope containing the authenticated certified photocopies of my license ID and board certificate; envelope addressed to NABP)
***confusing part usually: yung sa ECE kailangan dun nakalagay yung UIC documents mo, diba dalawa yung orderin mo sa uic, isang addressed to ECE and isa addressed to NABP. BOTH ilalagay mo sa papadalamo sa ECE dahil ECE ang magpapadalang documents na yun to NABP together with their assessment. kaya wag ka malilito or magkakamali na isasama mo ang uic docs sa papadala mo sa NABP
8.) after nyan you just have to wait, ECE will mail you informing you that they have received your documents and are processing. Followed by a letter from NABP saying they are waiting for your ECE results. or pwede ka nila padalhan ng letter na may kulang kang documents, pero usually ECE ang cause ng kulang sa NABP, don't fret agad kasi ganun sa akin. I just emailed NABP na natanggap ko na na sabi ng ECE inaasikaso na nila ang assessment ko. they emailed back and said na they are waiting and then nung natanggap nila inemail nila ako na complete na ako and just wait for results ng evaluation ko by nabp.
9.) I got my Authorization to Test (ATT) for FPGEE mga 3 weeks later i sent it. I went to pearson-vue and reserved a venue for my exam.
10.) after taking exam, i registered to TOEFL-ibt. 170 dollars naman. (exam date june
11.) Got the results on May 25 for FPGEE, June 15 naman ang TOEFL-ibt.
My kilala ako inuna niya TOEFL, around Feb siya nag TOEFL and nakuha agad ng NABP yung results niya, nagtake siya ng APRIL and mide June nakuha na niya certificate niya. Ako wala pa til now ....kaya ayun hehe take TOEFL na...
regarding reviewers: I used the following: Shargel, Lippincott (pharmacology),remington (basically for management and chemistry).
in my exam these are the chapters na naglaro yung part 1 ng exam: Shargel chapters 1- 10, there are A LOT OF PHARCHEM stuffs at pati yung reaction, the volume of distribution computation, yung graphs sa shargel about antagonism .
I'll try to recheck the book to see yung mga chapters if i have time. don't fret to ask. i hope my long message is helpful.
