Colour Me Beautiful is committed to offering the most up-to-date training, structured in a way which allows
you to develop, learn, progress and succeed according to your personal goals. Our programmes are professionally
designed and have been perfected over time to ensure that they give you the confidence and knowledge to expertly
advise your clients and to build a long term successful business.
All courses are highly interactive and include hands-on experience with client volunteers. This practical consulting
experience during training helps to maximise your confidence.
When you train with Colour Me Beautiful as a Personal Stylist, Colour or Image Consultant you have the opportunity
to run your own business, on a full or part-time basis, whilst enjoying the privileges and benefits of support and mar-
keting from a leading brand. Your income is generated from fees for services, enhanced by the sale of cosmetics and
other Colour Me Beautiful products.
Most consultants work from their home where they allocate space for a studio. Some go on to establish themselves
in commercial premises; others will add this new opportunity to their existing business. Personal styling and image
consulting are ideal if you want to build a mobile business or if your circumstances mean that you often relocate to
different cities or countries.
With between four and ten trainees on a course, we ensure you benefit from personal attention as well as
interaction with your peers. Courses generally run from 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Upon completion of this five-day course you qualify as a Personal Stylist and receive a certificate. You will be able
to confidently conduct style consultations and full image makeovers; you can also offer personal shopping, wardrobe
weeding and style updates to your clients.
This is a very interactive programme. You will learn style advising techniques and how to deliver these as a consultation
for your clients. The course combines structured theory in assessing body shape, proportions, scale and height with
practical application on volunteers. A shopping trip shows you how to apply the concepts you have learnt. This practical
experience builds your confidence and consolidates learning.

This five-day intensive course covers the Colour Me Beautiful colour concept and how to use it to advise clients
on their best colours for clothing and make-up.
The course includes theory and practical sessions to boost your confidence on how to execute, conduct and
communicate your knowledge during a consultation. You will have a chance to practise on volunteers to enhance
your knowledge and confidence.
Anyone attending this module has the opportunity to be featured and promoted on our website directory. By being
on the website you will receive enquiries from clients paying you for Colour Me Beautiful services. To provide these,
you will need stock of colour palettes (swatches) and cosmetics to sell at a profit. You should allow about 800 for
these. Your trainer will advise you on how and what to order.

Once you are an established Colour Me Beautiful Image Consultant, you have the option to develop your skills
and attend the Mens Image training. Offering image advice for men is a market that has seen a huge leap in recent
years and you may want to benefit from adding this service to your portfolio.
The course covers colour, style and wardrobing for men. The approach uses the same concepts already learnt,
adapting them to suit the male wardrobe and style personality. Practical sessions with volunteers allow consultants
to learn a more direct and structured approach to the consultation which is essential to the male client.
Corporate Training Optional Module Four
To attend this course you will need to have proved yourself to be effective as an Image Consultant. We advise at
least six months experience after the Mens Image Training before considering attending the intensive Corporate
Training programme. This course includes presentation skills which involves being filmed whilst conducting a
presentation to your course colleagues.

Colour Me Beautiful has developed a range of high quality products which are available exclusively through its
consultant network which gives you the opportunity to earn extra income. Client loyalty is encouraged through repeat
visits and purchases from you.
Cosmetics
The Colour Me Beautiful collection is designed according to our colour concept. The client buys only the colours
that are recommended for her particular palette. The magnetised kit system allows the consultant to personalise the
clients selection and encourages the client to return for replacements. Our system ensures a more environmentally
friendly approach to cosmetics as the minimum amount of packaging is wasted. Our cosmetics are not tested
on animals.
Consultants profit from the sales of cosmetics. The level of discount, and therefore profit you make, is dependant
upon the volume of your purchases throughout the year. The levels of discounts vary from 25 to 45% off the
retail price.
Colour Wallets
Given to your client as part of the colour analysis consultation, the wallet is a reminder of the quality of service your
clients receive. With 30 or 42 fabric swatches representing their best shades and suggested investment colours, the
colour wallet is an essential shopping aid for any Colour Me Beautiful client.
Programmes/Workbooks
Make-up Lessons, Style Consultations, Style Updates, Capsule Wardrobe and Bridal Consultations all offer clients
comprehensive notes which the consultant tailors for each individual. Workbooks/programmes for each of these
services provide the consultant with the structure for each service and the client with a valuable reference tool
following the consultation.
Publications
Books have enhanced Colour Me Beautifuls reputation as the leaders within the image industry and give consultants
the authority that goes with being associated with successful publications. Colour Me Beautiful started with a
publication written by Carole Jackson in 1979.
Colour Me Confident and Image Matters for Men were published by Hamlyn in 2006. Colour Me Younger followed
in 2008 and Be a Beautiful Bride in 2009. Colour Me Beautiful and Colour Me Slimmer were published in 2010
and the Make-up Manual in 2011. A new revised edition of Colour Me Beautiful is being launched in April 2014.

Recommended prices for your services are listed on our website as a guideline. However, you are entitled to
offer prices as you see fit depending on your location and experience.
Consultant Support
It is your choice to decide at which speed you progress through the training courses but if you choose to become
a Colour Me Beautiful Colour & Make-up or Image Consultant, you can be certain of consistent, ongoing support
from Head Office and fellow consultants.
Online Directory of Colour and Image Consultants
G Your name, photograph and contact details will be added to the online consultant directory which is visited by
over 1,200 potential clients every day. Your listing will remain in the online directory as long as you remain active
as a Colour Me Beautiful Image Consultant and subject to you paying a yearly registration fee currently
140.00 + VAT.
G We encourage consultants to have their own website and offer the opportunity of a reciprocal link from the Colour
Me Beautiful online directory.
Regional Meetings and Annual Conference
We are constantly working to improve our consulting skills. We do this best by learning from each other. Meetings
are organised every autumn in Leeds and London. At these meetings you will be introduced to the forthcoming
trends and high street fashions, new products and marketing developments. These are exciting and motivational
days with guest speakers covering subject matters relevant to your business. This is also an invaluable opportunity
for networking with fellow consultants. A small fee to cover lunch and material is charged for attending these
meetings.
Once a year (usually February) we honour our top achievers and those who have made an exceptional contribution
to Colour Me Beautiful. The Annual Conference takes place in London and is an excellent opportunity for newer
Consultants to improve their skills, build their confidence and network with their peers.
Many Consultants from outside the UK attend the UK Regional Meetings and Annual Conference.
