They are lifted safely off the deck (about 6') and then take a half-step in and clip in. The rider then rides the device using the inner ropes to hold on. The X-904 can be set up in about 20 minutes and collapsed in about the same time. It is made out of 6063T6 powder coated aluminum. Includes a shock-absorbing bottom and side netted areas to place work-vests or light gear. Incorporates a rubber non-slip floor over the diamond plate. The outer ropes are made of stainless steel cable covered in a nylon sheath dipped in polyurethane. The inner ropes are tightened with the middle brace and become rigid for outer protection. The clips (for man positioning) are aircraft quality stainless steel and have a quick release feature. The X-904 has a 7' bottom footprint, 8' rigid height and has standing inside headroom of slightly over 7'. The device comes standard with a 22' stabilizer and load line attached to the top. Pull tested and certified for up to 1200 lbs. Weighs approximately 500 lbs. Capacity = 4 people. ABS approved model available.
