This handy sprayer cleans large scale reactors without having to dismantle the
pilot plant.
The stainless steel tube has a series of holes that spray onto a carbon-filled PTFE
rotating disk fitted to the end of the stainless steel shaft that spins with the
pressure from the water or cleaning agent that comes out of the orifice. The disk
produces a 39" diameter by 360 spray pattern to simultaneously cover and wash
the entire inner surfaces of the reactor. The working pressure is 15-60 PSI;
maximum temperature is 220C*. See the chart at the upper right for pressures
and flow rates.
The sprayer will fit through a 1-1/8" diameter opening and can be used with a
45/50 joint to #15 Ace-Thred adapter. The complete CIP sprayer consists of a
stainless steel coupling and 24" extension tube, elbows and nipple, a 45/50
joint to #15 Ace-Thred glass adapter with a nylon bushing and FETFE o-ring.
