INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - UNPLUG THE POWER CORD!
2 - Remove screws from the incubator top and
back and remove them
3 - Cut wires A and B and strip insulation
5/16 from end (diagram 1).
4 - Remove all previously installed thermostats
by removing screws. Your new thermostat is
very reliable and secondary thermostats can
cause setting errors.
5 - Drill 1/2 hole through fan/heating element
partition in the vicinity of wire A.
6 - PRESS ON CONNECTOR is attached to
one end of wire C and is used to connect the
Power Cord wire, D to wire C (see Diagram
2 and 3).
7 - The new electronic thermostat will be
mounted in place of the forward wafer
thermostat or in place of an older electronic
thermostat. The hole where the adjusting
screw (or knob shaft) of the old thermostat was located will need to be enlarged.
Do this by drilling out this hole with a 7/8 drill bit. Press the plastic hole liner into
this hole from the outside. The adjusting screw hole on some older models may
be too close to the top to fit so that a new larger hole will have to be drilled 1/2
below the adjusting screw hole. Check this out first by placing the new thermostat
controls over the old adjusting screw hole from the inside of the cabinet to see that
the thermostat fits without touching the top.

8 - Connect wires as shown in diagram 2. Take care that the green thermostat wire
connects to the heater/pilot light wires at connection E. The black thermostat wire must connect to the black wire (not the white wire) of
the cordset at location D. The white thermostat wire connects at point F with the white wire of the cordset. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT ABOUT
THIS PROCEEDURE, THEN CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. FAILURE TO CONNECT THE WIRES PROPERLY WILL DESTROY THE THERMOSTAT!
9 - See that wires are free of the fan then reattach the top and back of the incubator. Plug in the cord set and the heater should come on. If
not, recheck electrical connections.
