    NETBALL

    History: The netball is a sport exclusively for women (although she
    has had any male championship) very similar to basketball, whose
    origins are closely linked. Actually it descends following a least curious
    fact, for misinterpretation. Recognized as Olympic in 1995, has not been
    incorporated into any Olympics, made by its international federation fight
    every day. It was first played in England, but had no official rules until
    1960. From 1963 the celebration of the World Championships every four
    years was agreed, first in Eastbourne (England)
    James Naismith had to invent a sport to entertain the workers of an
    association of young Christians. All attempts gave as result activities in
    which many participants were injured, so he thought of one that had to
    dunk a ball in a box high peaches, as this rate would reach the ball would
    be lower by having to fall instead of being released. So basketball came
    originally with nine players per team.
    Over time, a teacher asked the creator a copy of the rules, but to make
    drawing the playing court divided into three equal parts, placing each
    block of players (three defenders, three central and three forwards) in
    each one of the drawn-thirds, with the sole intention of helping her
    understand what would be the ideal distribution. But she played was that
    these lines limiting freedom of movement of each of the positions, which
    corresponds to a current rules netball.

    Task description & Rules:


    The teams are made up of seven players in the field, all with the initials
    of each demarcation printed on the shirt front and back. This
    demarcation is preventing them from moving around the field and can
    move only by a certain areas depending on the position they play. Each
    zone is defined by transverse lines, there being a total of three parts.
    In two of these three areas are two goal areas, which is where permitted
    dunk. Therefore both inside a stick of hanging basket rises. In the central
    part there is drawn a circle from where the meeting begins and resumed
    after each layup.

    The aim is to dunk the ball as many times as possible in the opposite
    basket during the four periods of 15 minutes that has the game. Are only
    allowed to release two players and the ball must go by passing, passing
    mandatory for the central zone. When a player has the ball in his
    possession is not allowed to move around the site (similar to basketball
    structure when the player does not already own dribbling), having just
    three seconds to release. The labels are also predetermined by the
    demarcation of the player.
